With the extensive loss of homes in the massive wildfires in the western United States, cremains recovery services are once again being offered, this time by a new nonprofit, Alta Heritage Foundation. It is the same volunteers, the same dog teams with the same sense of community, just working under a new banner.

Our Services

We help you locate burials of your prehistoric ancestors or historic cemeteries for the purpose of preservation and construction mitigation by using highly trained and certified dog and handler teams.

We help you mitigate damage to your sacred prehistoric burials or historic cemetery from proposed construction by identifying burials before ground breaking begins.

We can help you locate lost burials, burial grounds, cemeteries and their boundaries. We mark burial locations both inside and outside the boundaries to help your documentation and preservation work.
